To be the best, we need to defeat our biggest competition: ourselves. The MVP Next Step Program is an Athletic Development platform designed for young athletes and is centered around the personalized training philosophy of Olympic silver medalist, Sanjay Ayre. With progressive methods, we take athletes with raw talent and develop their fundamentals to help them excel across all sports in which they compete.

Our programs are based on years of research and scientific exploration. By utilizing our partnership with Puma International, we take the latest technology and innovations in training to draw out the potential of every athlete. The MVP Next Step Program helps athletes to develop to their maximum athletic potential. Remember, at the end of the day, it’s about training like a champion!

A Program for All Athletes

At Maximum Velocity Performance, our programs are designed to bring out the potential in every athlete. We base all our training on years of research and scientific data. Our goal is to build an athletic foundation from the ground up so we can focus your training towards any sport, any field, any goal. We will utilize proven methods and techniques to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury. Our custom-designed training will restore, rebuild and refine the athlete as they traverse the program.

i. UPSTART PROGRAM (AGES 8-10)

INTRO AND AWARENESS

Designed to introduce younger athletes to all areas of athletic development in a fun & positive training environment. We focus on improving body mechanics, coordination, speed & agility. This establishes a solid foundation & creates the building blocks of superior athleticism.

ii. FOUNDATIONS OF TRAINING (AGES 11-13)

FUNDAMENTALS PHASE

Designed to introduce all elements of athletic training in an encouraging learning environment. Biomechanical movement demonstrations are used to solidify technique, while keeping athletes engaged and maximizing their effort. Athletes will come away from this program with improved athleticism and a positive attitude toward training.

iii. PRE-UNIVERSITY PREP (AGES 13-16)

EVOLUTION PHASE

This phase of development is designed to take advantage of the natural biomechanical growth spurt and changes in an athlete’s natural physique where we will focus on agility, acceleration, and strength training. While in the evolution phase, it is important to maintain flexibility in order to counteract any physical growth issues and enhance speed and quickness.

iv. UNIVERSITY PREP (AGES 16+)

EXECUTION PHASE
This is where we leverage elements from the previous phases and prepare the athlete for optimum on-field performance and fully utilized potential. This preparation will set them apart from their peers when competing for starting positions and scholarships. By the execution phase, the athlete has developed a superior level of athleticism which will establish them as best in class in their respective sport. We will emphasize and fine tune biomechanics while we continue to improve stamina, strength, and speed.

SPECIALIZED SPORTS TRAINING

These training programs are more focused and follow a more direct approach to improving sport-specific skills. These skills translate directly to the field of play.

Designed to train athletes of any sport in the techniques & mechanics of linear speed. We focus specifically on acceleration and improving maximum velocity. Athletes will learn the appropriate movement patterns & technique necessary to have a more explosive first step and improve straight-ahead acceleration and top end speed.

Team Walk Back

The MVP Soccer Program is designed to restore you during the soccer off-season, refine you during the pre-season, maintain you during the season, and prepare you for the post-season. Soccer is a dynamic game that requires a fusion of both endurance and explosive energy systems. This sport requires reactive footwork, rapid hip rotations and short bursts of acceleration. At MVP, we’ll work with the athlete to establish soccer performance goals, assess their needs, and prepare for both short/long-term success and career sustainability!

Soccer Program

Hockey is a fierce, change-of-pace game with forceful collisions that requires a fusion of both endurance and explosive energy systems. This sport demands the ability to generate high powered rotational movements, engage in quick stop and start actions, and maintain stamina over 3 periods. At MVP, we’ll work with the athlete to establish hockey performance goals, assess their needs, and prepare for both short/long-term success and career sustainability!

Baseball is an explosive rotational power game, with high velocity repetitive movements done over a long demanding season. This sport pushes the boundaries of human limits with ballistic arm actions, extreme trunk ranges of motion and quick reactions in a high velocity environment. At MVP, we’ll work with the athlete to establish baseball performance goals, assess their needs, and prepare the athlete for maximized 60-yard speed.

Football is a collaboration of high-speed movements, powerful cutting actions, quick agility, and fast-paced changes in direction. It requires precise footwork, explosive hip power, and sustained energy for 4 quarters. At MVP, we’ll work with the athlete to establish football performance goals, assess their needs, and prepare for both short/long-term success and career sustainability!

Lacrosse is a high energy, impulsive, change-of-pace, change of direction game with both ballistic vertical and horizontal actions. This sport requires relentless energy, explosive movements and quick acceleration and deceleration. At MVP, we’ll work with the athlete to establish lacrosse performance goals, assess their needs, and prepare for both short/long-term success and career sustainability!
